Position Overview
The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for designing and updating the curriculum for the
Tuition-Free program, ensuring it aligns with established learning objectives and addresses the
needs of each focus region. This role involves working with subject matter experts and
customizing course content to ensure it is culturally appropriate and effective for diverse
learners.
Key Responsibilities
 Curriculum Creation and Updates:
o Design, develop, and update curriculum materials for the Tuition-Free program,
ensuring they align with educational standards and learning objectives.
o Regularly review and update curriculum content to include feedback, emerging
trends, and best practices in education.
 Learning Objectives Alignment:
o Make sure all curriculum materials match the set learning objectives and
competencies, supporting student achievement and success.
o Create assessments and evaluation tools that precisely measure student learning
outcomes.
 Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts:
o Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and expertise
that improve curriculum content and delivery.
o Facilitate discussions and workshops with SMEs to make sure that curriculum
materials reflect current knowledge and practices in relevant fields.

 Regional Adaptation:
o Tailor curriculum content to address the specific cultural, linguistic, and
educational needs of focus regions.
o Research and incorporate local context, resources, and best practices to improve
relevance and effectiveness.
 Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated on developments in educational theory, instructional design, and
technology, integrating innovative practices into curriculum development.
o Collect and evaluate feedback from instructors, students, and stakeholders to
guide ongoing curriculum improvements.
Qualifications
 Education:
o A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design,
or a related field.
 Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design,
preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
o Knowledge of online learning platforms and effective distance education methods
is a plus.
 Skills:
o Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects
and meeting deadlines.
o Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively
with a diverse group of stakeholders.
o Skilled in utilizing instructional design software and learning management
systems (LMS).
